A father and son in Chennai have been arrested in a suspected real estate fraud case involving nearly Rs 30 crore. The duo allegedly defrauded a buyer by promising a house in exchange for a large sum of money. The police in Tamil Nadu have detained the two suspects following an investigation.

The case was reported to the police after the victim discovered the fraud. Authorities are currently examining the financial transactions and the property details to determine the extent of the deception. The accused are said to have used fake documents to lure the buyer.

This is not the first instance of real estate fraud in the city. Similar cases have been reported in recent months, highlighting growing concerns about fraudulent practices in the property market. Law enforcement agencies are urging buyers to verify all documents and seek legal advice before making large financial commitments.
